Mrs. Pegues is a phenomenal teacher because she doesn’t give up on you.  She believes that no matter what obstacle you have to overcome in school or your life, you can do it with perserverance, confidence, and hard work.  She cares about each and everyone of us.  Her favorite motto is, “Everybody makes mistakes”.  I like her class because she provides us with hands on learning that helps us understand things better.  Even though she has had to overcome obstacles of her own this year, she always gave 100% of herself to us!  Mrs. Pegues you rock!!!

I have enjoyed having the pleasure of getting to know Mrs. O”Mary (3rd Grade Teacher). She cares a lot about her students and keeps the parents informed of how their child is doing. She takes the time to explain and let the parent know what they need to do to keep their child on task with their work. My son has diabetes and she shows a special concern about his condition. At first I have to admit that I was nervous and scared about this school year because my son was diagnosed in July 2007 and I felt like no one would be involved like I am and als felt like he would be alone and scared, but Ms. O’Mary and the school nurses at Northside Intermediate have been very helpful and kind to my son and I. This has been a great school year!!! Thank You!
