Martin, Mac and Cheese still in need of forever homes!

Martin, Mac and Cheese still in need of forever homes!
By: Savanah Eve Stewart

If you are looking to add a new furry friend to your family please consider adopting an older dog.  Martin, Mac and Cheese are still available for adoption at For Paws Boutique in Auburn.
Though most people want to adopt a puppy there are some wonderful benefits to adopting an older dog.  Martin, Mac and Cheese are already housebroken…no need for puppy pads! They have had all their shots and are also neutered.  These 3 dogs all walked well on the leash and have learned some basic commands such as “sit” and “stay”.  They are much calmer and are always so grateful for a loving pat on the head.
Martin is the sweet Alabama brown dog with 3 legs.  If you think that this is a handicap to him it definitely is not.  Dogs carry 70% of their weight on their front legs.  Martin is missing his back leg and gets along as well as any other dog.  Martin has a big heart and is still waiting patiently for someone to love and appreciate him for the wonderful pet he is.
Mac and Cheese are beautiful black lab mixes.  Even though they were abandoned at a young age you would never know it because of their sweet dispositions.  Lab puppies are known for their intelligence and their loyalty and make wonderful family pets.  Mac and Cheese are no exception and are also waiting patiently for a loving family.
If you are interested in learning more or even visiting these 3 precious dogs please contact Rebecca at For Paws Boutique at 502-7900.

The Best Gamer

The Best Gamer
by Keith Nelms, 7th Grade, Amy Holley’s Class, Loachapoka High School

I want to show you how I beat all my games, some of them. In the newspaper I want them to call me “The best Gambler ever in all Nintendo systems”. My first system is the Gamecube and the game I beat is “Paper Mario & the Thousand Year Door”. The second system is the Gameboy SP and the game I beaten is “Mario vs. Donkey Kong”. Third system is the Nintendo Ds Lite and the game I’ve beaten is “Kirby Squeak Squad”. The last system is the Wii and the game I beaten is “Super Mario Galaxy”. The other system I play is Nintendo 64 and the game I beaten already is “Cruis’n World” and I got the car I wanted is the “Speed Demon”. I got the Speed Demon by earning 9999 points. There are still more games I have to beat, but I can do it. There are some games that are a little hard but I will do my best. And that contains my story about my games of how I beat my games on every system.
