Auburn jumped out to an 11-0 lead after just two innings and moved its season home run total to 33 in an 11-7 win over Western Kentucky at Plainsman Park on Wednesday night.

MONTGOMERY — Auburn’s slugger-heavy lineup won’t bail out the bullpen every night.

The Auburn bats remained hot, collecting 29 total hits, including 13 for extra bases, as the Tigers swept a doubleheader with Brown on Saturday at Plainsman Park.

Four first-inning home runs and a dominant performance from pitcher Grant Dayton led Auburn to an 11-2 win over Brown on Friday night at Plainsman Park.

The Auburn baseball team will close out a season-long seven-game home stand this weekend when it plays host to Brown for a four-game series at Plainsman Park, beginning at 6 p.m. today.
