Casey McElroy finished the night 4-for-5 with a career-high five RBI, including a two-run double in Auburn’s six-run eighth, as the Auburn baseball team claimed a 12-9 win at Kentucky on Friday night, snapping a six-game conference losing streak.

Auburn’s pitching staff has been fairly atrocious by all statistical measures during the team’s recent rough stretch.

TROY — Logan Pierce protected Troy’s third out as fiercely as the Trojans defended their home field in a 14-6 victory over Auburn on Tuesday night.

Three games against top-ranked Vanderbilt, three similar road maps to the finish line and three identical results have Auburn all alone in the SEC West basement a third of the way into the conference season.
