Former Auburn outfielder Trent Mummey hit a walk-off grand slam Sunday night to cap off a 7-3 win for the Aberdeen Ironbirds, the Baltimore Orioles’ single-A, short-season affiliate.

Mummey is hitting .295 with two home runs and eight RBI in 61 at-bats for the Ironbirds this season.

He was a fourth-round pick for the Orioles in June, after hitting .366 with 17 home runs and 54 RBI in an injury-shortened junior campaign.
