Auburn senior forward Korvotney Barber is the only player in the SEC who is averaging a double-double in league play and one of only 11 players in BCS conferences to average a double-double in league play this year.

He is averaging 12.6 points and 11.2 rebounds in SEC games.

In all games, Barber ranks second in the SEC, averaging 9.5 rebounds per game, is sixth in the league shooting 54.3 percent from the floor, leads the SEC with 3.5 offensive rebounds per game and is 20th averaging 12.6 points.

Barber has eight double-doubles on the season and 16 total in his career and has had a career-high 18 rebounds in three different games this year vs. South Carolina, at Arkansas and at Georgia.

He made the game-winning layup with four seconds remaining to upset Tennessee on Feb. 7.

Last year, he was leading the nation in shooting percentage at 72.0 percent when he broke his left hand three minutes into Auburn’s Dec. 29, 2007, game vs. Towson and missed the rest of the year.
