National championship celebration set for Thursday
The Auburn national champion equestrian team will be honored with a celebration at the Tiger Walk entrance outside of Gate 10 on the south side of Jordan-Hare Stadium on Thursday at 5:15 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to join the team celebrate by rolling the trees at the Tiger Walk entrance following the event.

Auburn won its second overall national championship and its second hunt seat national championship in Waco, Texas, last Saturday. The Tigers also won the national championship in 2006 and were the 2008 hunt seat national champions.

SOFTBALL

No. 25 Tigers host No. 23 LSU
The 25th-ranked Auburn softball team will host 23rd-ranked LSU in a doubleheader today at Jane B. Moore Field. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m.

Auburn enters the midweek SEC series with a 32-11 overall record and an 11-9 conference record. The Tigers have lost three straight after being swept at home by No. 10 Florida over the weekend. Auburn holds a 1½ -game lead over LSU (25-15, 8-9) for second place in the SEC West.

Auburn freshman Morgan Estell goes into the LSU series having reached base safely in a season-high 12 consecutive games. Estell led Auburn with a .667 batting average and a 1.222 slugging percentage in three games against Florida. Estell is fifth in the SEC with a .418 batting average this season and 11th with a .500 on-base percentage.
