Auburn senior Jessica Glover became the first Tiger to make one of the Southeastern Conference’s postseason teams in eight years, as she was named to the All-SEC Second Team, the league announced Monday.

By earning the postseason honor, Glover became the first Tiger to make either one of the SEC’s postseason teams since Jaunelle Hamilton was named to the All-SEC Second Team following the 2000 season. She also becomes just the 10th Tiger ever to make the All-SEC Second Team.

Glover, a native of Converse, Texas, led the Tiger offense this season with a .250 attack percentage, averaging 3.45 kills per set. She was even better in SEC play, posting a .276 attack percentage and 3.73 kills per set — a mark that ranked third in the SEC.

Her 22 kills against Georgia earlier this season also tied as the eighth-highest single-match kill output this season in the SEC.

Glover also left her mark on the Auburn record book, finishing the season ranked seventh all-time at Auburn in career kills with 1,137. She became just the 12th Tiger ever to reach the 1,000-kill plateau. She also ranks ninth in career kills per set with 3.17, sixth in career attacks with 3,130, ninth in career digs with 964 and ninth in career digs per set with 2.69.

The Auburn volleyball team finished the season 6-25 (1-19 SEC).
