For four years, Auburn sophomore guard Alli Smalley wore No. 5 as she stormed the court at Arab High School, tallying a school-record 3,114 points.

Tonight, Smalley will get to see her No. 5 in a different light as it makes its way to the rafters in a retiring ceremony at Arab High School.

Known for her legendary following back home in Arab, Smalley built her legend in her hometown as she was a two-time All-State first team selection and a two-time Alabama Miss Basketball finalist. She averaged 21.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.9 steals per game her senior season at Arab High School.

“I’m looking forward to it, it will be fun to get back home and see everybody,” said Smalley. “It will also be really special because I am the first one.”
