Jordan Price pledges to Barbee’s Tigers

Tony Barbee and his staff added another piece to the Class of 2012 on Saturday, picking up a commitment from shooting guard Jordan Price.

Price, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound swingman from Southwest Dekalb High in Decatur, Ga., is a four-star recruit according to ESPN.com and a three-star recruit according to Rivals.com and Scout.com.

ESPN ranks him as the 75th best player in the Class of 2012 and 13th best shooting guard and Scout ranks him as the No. 21 shooting guard.

Price visited Auburn on Saturday morning before committing.

He averaged 19.1 points per game for Southwest Dekalb last season as it posted a 25-5 record.

Price also holds offers from schools such as Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami (FL) and Memphis.

He joins 6-5 Shaquille Johnson of Milton (Ga.) High, who committed in February, in the Tigers’ Class of 2012.
