KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Auburn freshman Kane Grimster finished the men’s race 14th and Elizabeth Briasco was 18th in women’s action at the 2011 SEC cross country championships hosted by the University of Tennessee on Monday.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Auburn junior Carlie Yadloczky carded a 2-under 70 in the final round of the “Mo” Morial Tuesday, giving her a 3-under 216 for the tournament and her first career individual victory.

Not bad for a walk-on.
