The Auburn equestrian team hasn’t competed since October.

A total of 20 Auburn student-athletes graduated as part of the Auburn University Fall 2008 graduating class on Friday.

All-American Kelly Marx claimed the men’s 1-meter title and freshman Anna Aguero was the women’s 3-meter runner-up Thursday at the Auburn Diving Invitational at the James E. Martin Aquatic Center.

Freshman Katy Frierson and senior Allison Whitworth were both named to the 2008 NSCAA/adidas Division I Women’s All-Southeast Region teams, the coaches organization announced. Frierson was named to the second team while Whitworth was named to the third team.

Five signees will join the Auburn equestrian team next season.

ATLANTA — The 2008 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming Short Course National Championships came to a close on Saturday night with the Auburn men and women claiming two national championships, three automatic NCAA times, and 19 provisional cut times.
