Hannah and Justin

Justin and Hannah first met in March 2007 when Hannah’s cousin had invited her to an Austin’s Bridge concert in Columbus, Georgia. The cousin knew Justin, and after the concert the group went to eat. Hannah and Justin didn’t talk much that night but kept in touch on MySpace over the course of the year. Eventually Austin’s Bridge returned for a concert at Hannah’s Church and the couple had their first date three days later. They have been inseparable ever since. “Within the first week we knew we were going to get married,” said Hannah.

Justin proposed on August 6 at a concert in Georgia. He had secretly arranged for Hannah’s family as well as his own to be there. At the end of the concert, Justin brought Hannah up on stage to “show the band’s merchandise.“ “I thought I was selling t-shirts and cd’s, but then Justin started singing a song he wrote for me. I had absolutely no idea what was going on,” Hannah recalled. The last line of the song was…“You’re everything I’ve ever wanted a wife to be, so WILL YOU MARRY ME?“ The couple are getting married May 2, 2009, at Auburn United Methodist Church.
