Observe the legislature in session and tour the State Capital Complex. On the eighth floor of the State House is a gallery for observing the Senate. Those who wish to watch the House of Representatives may do so from a gallery on the sixth floor of the State House. If visitors call well in advance, they can schedule an appointment to meet their Representative or Senator. The State Capitol also has a gift shop where visitors can purchase Alabama-inspired trinkets.
