Tired of the standard blockbuster movies?  Enjoy an independent film at The Capri Theater. Built in 1941, the Capri was Montgomery’s first neighborhood theatre. The Capri is open daily and hosts a children’s matinee on Thursday and Friday afternoons in the summer. The Capri also holds special events such as the Ann Arbor Film Festival Tour (www.aafilmfest.org) in August, the Manhattan Short Film Festival (www.msfilmfest.com) in September and the Southern Circuit Filmmaker’s Tour (www.southarts.org), which begins in September and runs through April.
