Auburn CityFest is a one-day extravaganza, held in Kiesel Park in Auburn. The festival features more than 100 arts-and-crafts vendors, delicious food, live entertainment, and several interactive activities that the whole family can enjoy. In the past, Auburn CityFest has had a skydiving display, a 5K Race, hot air balloons, demonstrations from the Auburn University Raptor Center, and meet-and-greets with Auburn University athletic teams. The Children’s Imagination Station is a popular spot at CityFest where kids enjoy giant inflatable slides and obstacle courses, a Caterpillar Maze and so much more. Kids also love the ArtFest Tent that has teacher-led activities like creating paper flowers, weaving, and puppet making. Plus, CityFest hosts a juried art show featuring artists from around the Southeast working in a variety of mediums — from acrylics to ceramics. CityFest is held on the last Saturday in April and draws as many as 30,000 people from around the region.
