With the exception of some holidays, fresh fish and frozen seafood are for sale each Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Auburn University Fish Market. The selection includes live catfish, live grass carp, frozen catfish fillets, frozen shrimp, and if the season is right, tilapia. The fish and shrimp are grown at various Auburn University Research facilities, like the Auburn University Shellfish Lab on Dauphin Island. The Fish Market is located in Auburn on Highway 147.
